ELEGANTE TEA LUNCHEON 2012 was a grand success!

The Co-op’s THIRD ANNUAL tea is now officially a legend in Lake Placid.Those of you who have attended previously know we had:
a style show and a hat contest, plus favors and prizes, tasty teas

and marvelous dainties. This year was no exception. Once again we had a capacity attendance and the event room was decorated in an exquisite manner.  

BUT the primary benefit of all was the HAND-PAINTED CUP AND SAUCER which each guest received. 

 

A great time was had by all. We want to thank all the 38 or more folks who worked so very hard to pull this off. Plus thanks to all the businesses and individuals who contributed prizes and gifts.

Our Best-Decorated Hat Contest was won by none other than Ahn McQueen of Sebring. Ahn said she knew decorated hats were going to be part of the event, but wasn't aware there was an actual contest. She was
surprised to win, but delighted to have been chosen.      

She smiled and asked us to say, "My hat is off to all those who organized this tea. They did an absolutely wonderful job.”

Thank you Ahn, we couldn't agree more.
