Kate is a "snowbird" who resides in Vermillion, Ohio and in Lake Placid where she is very active in the artist community. Kate attended Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio in 1976 as a student of fine arts. In the following years she dabbled in several different mediums. In 1988 she attended watercolor classes in Ft. Myers Beach and decided to focus on this medium.
